Hyderabad, Dec. 1

Online job search services provider Monsterindia.com today announced that the traffic on the site grew by more than 238 per cent in July-September 2006 compared to the same period last year. The Vice-President, Marketing, Monster India, Mr Dhruvakanth Shenoy, in a statement said "our new marketing campaign, "Caught in the wrong job?", launched in April this year has been successful in driving rapid growth in the traffic, which in turn helps our employers find the right talent."

During the quarter of July-September, Monsterindia.com (excluding JobsAhead) received almost 12.5 lakh new resumes (13,100 new resumes per day), which is 62 per cent more than the nearest competitor's claimed new resume inflow.
