Franchise attracts more participants

In a bid to leverage opportunities arising from the expansion of retail activity in the country, Franchise India Holdings Ltd, an integrated franchise solution company, is organising Franchise India 2006 — a two-day event showcasing international and domestic retailers.

According to a company release, this year's event has seen an increase of almost 40 per cent in participation compared with the previous year. Franchise India 2006 brings over 300 business opportunities from over 20 countries for investors seeking to invest between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10 crore.

The event will have reputed retail players such as Barista, Benetton, Reebok, US Dollar Store, Pacific Malls, Levis, Zee education, Yum International, VLCC, Next and Wills Lifestyle, among others.
