Silicon Valley headquartered BroVis Wireless Networks, a global manufacturer of Wireless Access Systems, has unveiled high performance products that provide better radio technology, offer higher antenna gain and better diversity. The products — AS 500 XAP (Extended Access Point), AC 100 SP (Outdoor Subscriber Station) and AS 1000 (Outdoor Base Station) — developed using Atheros chipsets offer dual radio capability, assures better coverage and longer reach, says Mr Muthu Logan, Founder and CEO of BroVis.

Stating that BroVis is one of the few manufacturers to offer a range of innovative products to cater to both indoor and outdoor applications, he said the AC 100 and AS 1000 were capable of establishing point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links in NLOS and LOS conditions and could do up to 30 km in LOS and 1-5 km in NLOS. BroVis would be adding the Smart Antenna Dynamic Mesh and Wi-Max capabilities in the next couple of quarters, Mr Logan said.
