HUMAN TOUCH: Hand-pulled rickshaws will no more be a mode of transport in Kolkata as the West Bengal Assembly passed the Bill banning the oldest mode of transport on Monday. The State Government has banned these rickshaws on humanitarian grounds, and promised to rehabilitate nearly 10,000 rickshaw pullers.
