Allahabad Bank gets State award

Kolkata, Dec. 4

Allahabad Bank, which has a large concentration of branches in West Bengal, has been awarded the West Bengal Government's prize for outstanding performance in recruitment of persons with disabilities, says a press release. The bank follows the official guidelines for recruitment of physically challenged people. The release adds that the bank has formulated a scheme for providing financial relief to the physically challenged officers and employees regarding purchase of support equipment.
