Sisira Auto unveils luxury coaches

Sisira Automobiles has launched its latest `Ex-series luxury coaches' equipped with the most advanced driving and passenger comfort on par with foreign brands of luxury coaches.

Built on Ashok Leyland's recently launched 12 metre chassis, this new series from the stable of Sisira Travels, unit of Sisira Automobiles located at Neeleswaram near Kochi, is priced at Rs 30-35 lakh, much lesser than the prices of same class of foreign brands available in the Indian markets, Mr S. Sura, proprietor of the company, said. It has the high quality Indian brand of seats such as Haritha, Khusi, Polyfelx and Carrier, Jingvi (China) and Thermo King brand of air-conditioners.

"What we are providing is passenger comfort on par with flights," he said, adding that the new series of semi sleeper luxury coaches have sufficient leg space, aluminium composite panel interiors, special AC ventilators, reading lamps and music channel for each seat.

Other highlights include front and back air suspension, pneumatic air doors, sufficient luggage space etc.
