Convergys expands centre

Customer care, human resources and billing solutions major Convergys Corporation has announced expansion of its software development campus located at the Hitec City, near here. The US-based corporation has taken additional area and has moved 80 developers into the new facility. With this, the staff strength at the centre exceeds 1,200. The learning development team joins the billing software group.

The NYSE-listed company has over 10,000 employees in India and serves 70 plus countries speaking nearly 35 languages. The Country Manager of Convergys, Mr Paresh Shah, said: "India has consistently proven itself as an ideal location for Convergys. This expansion confirms India will be a strong, continuing focus for Convergys." The Hyderabad IT campus is the company's eighth facility in India .
