Tata Teleservices held the fifth in the series of M Power events in the city on Thursday. The M Power forum for customers, operators and application providers is expected to bring about sharing of knowledge and best practices about various uses of mobility for enterprises.

"Mobile applications such as sales force automation will bring about a 20-30 per cent rise in field productivity for road warriors," said Mr Vinayak Deshpande, President, Enterprise & HNI Business Unit, Tata Teleservices. Embracing mobility is also expected to bring about a 40 per cent reduction in time to market. Solutions such as wireless email, data cards, remote network access, vehicle tracking (using a combination of a virtual private network and GPS), telemetry, SMS gateway, transaction solutions were discussed.
