Trend Micro in pact with CERT-In

The Indian arm of anti-virus software major, Trend Micro, has inked an agreement with the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) for security cooperation in India.

The partners perceive this as an extension of their relationship that could further be strengthened by providing immediate response to emergencies caused by rising cyber community security threats. The agreement entails technology cooperation, technical information exchange, knowledge sharing, emergency response and coordination, mutual metrics exchange, executive information exchange programmes and customer outreach programmes between the parties. The security cooperation agreement, according to a release, provides (both parties) access to information on content security in accordance with the products/services/processes of the other party, namely, the promotion of public security awareness and adoption in India.
