Resource base

CAPART also announced the setting up of an Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Rural Technology in New Delhi, which will offer a national resource base on rural technologies. The institute would have a digital library, networking, research, documentation services and a knowledge portal.

New beginning

The partnership with CST, which involves a funding of Rs 84.70 lakh spread over a period three years, heralds a new synergised beginning aimed at achieving rural prosperity, said Ms Veena S.
