Car rally with a difference

A unique car rally, in which a few visually handicapped also took part, was organised in the city by Skoda dealer Mahavir Auto on Sunday. The global auto major had done similar initiatives in Aurangabad, Kochi and Bangalore. It is essentially targeted at its existing customers. The Hyderabad rally had 30 participants. Each of the Skoda car owner was accompanied by one volunteer from the National Association for the Blind (NAB). They had to cover a distance of 50 km, following a different route to the final destination. The team of Mr Kartik and Mr S.K. Yesu Babu won the race, Mr Yashwant Jhababh, Head of Mahavir Auto, said.
