Vijayawada, Dec. 13

Dr K. Anji Reddy, Chairman of Dr. Reddy's Labs, will be given Dr Pinnamaneni and Smt Sita Devi Foundation Award for 2006 at a function here on Thursday, said Dr C. Nageswara Rao, managing trustee. He said at a press meet here that the award presentation function would be held in Tummalapallivari Kshetrayya Kala Kshetram. Dr Reddy was born at Tadepalli village near here. The award carries a citation and Rs 2 lakh in cash. Dr Nageswara Rao said that Dr Reddy had been chosen for the award, not only for his entrepreneurship but also for the social service rendered by his group.
