Strike dilemma

WHAT'S IN STORE?: It may be business as usual for the IT sector employees in Kolkata on Thursday. Although CITU has declined to exempt the IT and IT-enabled services firms from the 24-hour strike saying that the sector was not on the list of essential services, the State administration has assured that special arrangements would be made for the employees to go to work and return safely. The IT Services Association, the first trade union body in West Bengal IT industry, has said those willing to go to work will not be stopped.
