ADCOM meet from Dec 20

The 14th international conference on `Advanced computing and communications 2006'(popularly known as ADCOM 2006), organised by the Advanced Computing and Communication Society (ACS) of Bangalore, will be held at National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in Mangalore from December 20-23.

A press release by NITK said here that the main objective of ADCOM conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of computing and information technology and provide a forum for showcasing advances in technologies from a systems and software engineering perspective. The main theme is `Autonomic Computing', which is emerging as a significant strategic and holistic approach to design of computer-based systems, the release added.
