Work on plantation valley

The second-stage development of the plantation valley, set up by the Plantation Corporation of Kerala (PCK) Ltd to promote farm tourism, will be inaugurated by the Agricultural Minister, Mr Mullackal Rathnakaran, on December 24.

The project envisages tourist cottages, restaurants, plantation for medicinal plants, children's park, boating facilities etc. The plantation valley on the banks of the Chalakkudy river attracts a large number of tourists. As a follow-up to this, another farm tourism project will be launched in Peruvannamuzghy, said Mr T.J. Anjalose, Chairman, and Mr Babu Thomas, Managing Director of PCK Ltd.
