New Delhi, Dec. 15

Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd has commissioned its new mill at Brijnathpur (Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh). The mill, set up at a cost of around Rs 127 crore, has a capacity to crush 4,000 tonnes of cane daily (tcd), which is expandable to 5,000 tcd.

The sugar from the new plant will be of high quality grade of less than 45 ICUMSA, which will help Simbhaoli to export the product to West Asia and other refined sugar markets vacated by the European Union, a company release said on Friday.
