Cisco rolls out Global Leap

To tap the market potential of the small and medium business segment, Cisco is rolling out the Global Leap initiative from Pune. The initiative would be showcased at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Kochi.

Mr Jagdish Mahapatra, Regional Manager, Sales ITS, Cisco India and SAARC, who was in the city for the roll out, said there are about 3,000 companies who fit in the ITES category, who have a user base of 100 to 500 users, for whom these solutions are being rolled out. Cisco is now bundling the solutions along with the option of Cisco Capital, the finance solution to these customers. He noted that the user would have to shell out Rs 400 per month per user as the charges.
