TCS sets up lab in Peterborough

Mr K. Ananthakrishnan, Chief Technology Officer, TCS, said his company looking at innovations in three time horizons to support the business here. These time horizons are split into the next 12 months, up to three years; and beyond that.

He said it is setting up the 18th lab in Petersborough, London, which would address networking and large data problems. He said the work on the lab began in October and would be completed by March.

Currently, there are 17 other labs spread across the globe and are domain-specific. Mr Ananthakrishnan said it was also expanding the showcases across the globe. Currently it has five and added that Detroit would see an automobile showcase as is seen here.
