Rice NBHC starts paddy procurement Our Bureau
Mumbai , Dec. 18 National Bulk Handling Corporation (NBHC) has bought 100 million tonnes of paddy in Madhya Pradesh on the first day of its procurement programme for the kharif season on behalf of Food Corporation of India. Private player NBHC has been appointed by FCI to carry out kharif paddy procurement at Seoni, Madhya Pradesh.
Quality testing
NBHC's quality testing team is carrying out quality inspection and gradation through mobile quality kits to ensure proper remuneration to farmers and adhere to the quality specifications of FCI paddy procurement, according to a press release. This procurement scheme is being carried out in Barghat Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee mandi of Seoni Revenue District and its sub-mandi Gangerwa. NBHC belongs to the MCX group; it is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and a national-level solutions provider in warehousing, bulk handling, grading and inspection, commodity care and pest management, and collateral management of commodities.
