Tata Motors has announced the opening of its second passenger car showroom in the city. Announcing this, Mr S. Krishnan, Vice-President (Commercial), Passenger Car Business Unit, Tata Motors, said the outlet of Kulathunkal Motors is the company's largest showroom in Kerala.

The company, which currently has seven car showrooms in the State, plans to add more such outlets over the next few years, he added. Kerala is an important market for the company, which, on an average, sells around 900 cars in the State every month, he said. The company's passenger vehicle models such as the Indica Xeta and the Safari enjoy good demand in the State, he claimed.
