Kochi , Dec. 22

Tata Teleservices Ltd, Kerala, has announced the winners of its ongoing loyalty scheme of public telephone booth (PTB) and coin calling booth (CCB) owners across the State.

The five PTB and CCB operators who have won received a Tata Indica Xeta from Mr V. Shyam Sunder, COO, Kerala Circle, Tata Teleservices. The scheme, which started on April 1 and on till March 31, 2007, is the only one of its kind in Kerala.

The operators or owners of PTB and CCB have to accumulate runs to participate in the scheme. Every time an operator contributes revenue of Rs 10 through the public telephone, he accumulates one run. When an operator accumulates one lakh runs, he will win a Tata Indica Xeta. There are other prizes to be won too, like an all-expenses paid trip to West Indies for the Cricket World Cup in 2007.
