Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 22

US Senator, Mr Arlen Specter, accompanied by the Consul General, Mr David Hopper, visited the US Technology Centre here on Thursday. A US Technology spokesperson said here that Mr Specter's visit was significant in that he was representing the Federal Government as part of a drive to explore further opportunities at strengthening Indo-US business ties.

The Senator said he was particularly impressed with the US Technology work culture and the latest facilities at the "Bhavani" module in Technopark where over 2,000 professionals work currently. US Technology is the single largest offshore development centre for US Technology Resources.
