T-bills auction announcement

Mumbai, Dec. 22

The Reserve Bank of India has announced an auction of 91-day Treasury bills and 182-day T-bills for December 27, 2006, using multiple price auctions. The notified amount for the 91-day T-bills would be Rs 2,000 crore, of which Rs 1,500 crore would be under Market Stabilisation Scheme (MSS). The notified amount for the 182-day T-bills would be Rs 1,500 crore, of which Rs 1,000 crore would be under MSS.
