Hyderabad, Dec. 25

The Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation has registered a total turnover of Rs 43 crore in the first eight months of this financial year. The net profit was put at Rs 2 crore.

In a press release here on Monday, Mr B. Jayaraj, Managing Director, said the State Government had issued an order early this month facilitating export of Lepakshi products made of red sanders. The order would help the corporation to procure the wood at a subsidised price.
