IndusInd Bank on Tuesday said that it has received authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India to open 19 more branches. This is in addition to the licences for 21 branches it had received from the RBI during the current year; the bank has already opened seven branches and 14 would be opened before March 2007. IndusInd Bank has a network of 147 branches and 86 offsite ATMs spread over 118 geographical locations in 24 States and Union Territories. A bank statement said that after this new set of licences, the network would now increase to 180 branches by April next year.
