Mumbai , Dec 28 The stock of Ess Dee Aluminium Ltd, pharmaceutical packaging solutions provider, made its debut at Rs 265, a premium of 17.77 per cent to the offer price of Rs 225, on the NSE. The stock witnessed an intra-day low at Rs 235.10 before settling at Rs 238.30. A total of 71,80,599 shares were traded on the NSE. On the BSE, the stock opened at Rs 260, at a premium of 15.55 per cent. It saw an intra-day high at Rs 261.90 and a low at Rs 235.25. It closed at Rs 238.45. The total traded quantity on BSE was 61,71,338 shares. The company entered the capital market with an initial public issue of 69.6 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each through the book building process The issue proceeds will part finance an expansion project at Daman costing Rs 114.79 crore to raise the company's aluminium foil rolling capacity from 3,600 tonnes per annum to 18,000 tonnes.
