Awards & Honours States - West Bengal Jayshree Chem gets safety award Our Bureau
JCL's plant is located at Ganjam in Orissa. The company has achieved higher production of caustic soda at about 15,850 tonnes up to November 2006 against 14,900 tonnes in the corresponding period of previous year. Against the production figure of 22,847 tonnes for the full last year, the company expects to clock better production figures this year, said a company press note. The financial closure of Rs 115-crore expansion programme aimed at adding the capacity of caustic soda by about 100 tonnes per day, is to be done shortly. The expansion scheme will be implemented on the basis of latest energy efficient and environment friendly membrane technology.
