NMDC has received ISO-14001:2004 certificates from DNV (Det Norske Veritas). Mr B. Ramesh Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director received the certification, which relates to upgradation of environment management of projects. Mr Kumar said that environmental credibility has become a major factor in national and international competitiveness, according to a company release.
