Kerala shipping board reconstituted

The Kerala Government has reconstituted the board of directors of Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation Ltd with the appointment of Rear Admiral B.R. Menon, former Chairman and Managing Director of Goa Shipyard and TELK, as the Chairman of the Corporation. Mr K.N. Satheesh will be the Managing Director. The other members are Mr Jiji Thomson, Principal Secretary (Transport), Ms P. Kumari Geetha, Under Secretary (Finance), and Capt. Paul M. Joseph, nominee of the Cochin Port Trust. The nominations from the State port and water transport department are yet to be made. Mr Menon will also advise the State Government on speedy development of inland waterways and modernisation of all minor ports in the State.
