The Andhra Pradesh Government has appointed Satyam Foundation, a non-profit organisation, as the State level nodal agency for implementation of the Health Information Help Line intervention under the National Rural Health Mission in Andhra Pradesh.

This initiative is part of the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and is aimed at assisting the people particularly the rural poor that face difficulties in accessing a qualified doctor. The helpline will be a single, State-level call centre, which runs a toll free telephone number 1056.
