The Kochi-based Ajit Associates (Architects and Engineers) has entered into an agreement with Hong Kong-based P&T Architects to jointly bid for major IT projects in the State.

An ISO 9001-2000 company, Ajit Associates has designed the largest speciality shopping mall in the country, `Gold Souk' covering an area of 4.5 lakh sq ft, under construction in the city. It has also designed the 180-room Preferred Hotel, to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore in the state. Mr T.K.A. Nair, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, inaugurated the new premises of the company in the Puthuran Plaza here.
