Mr I.M.G. Khan, an officer of the Indian Postal Service (1970 Batch), on Monday took charge as the Secretary, Department of Posts. He has taken charge from Ms Jyotsna Diesh, who retired on superannuating. Mr Khan will also hold ex-officio the posts of Director-General, Posts, and Chairman, Postal Services Board. He was working as Member (Operations & Marketing) prior to this appointment. Mr Khan has earlier held positions as Member (Development), CPMG Rajasthan Circle and Uttar Pradesh Circle.
