Hero Honda Dec bike sales flat

Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Honda Motors Ltd today reported a marginal increase in motorcycle sales for December 2006 at 2,45,175 units compared to 2,45,104 units in the same month a year ago. The company sold 7,287 units of its scooterette Pleasure during the month, which was launched earlier in the year. The total sales (including exports) for the month stood at 2,52,462 units as against 2,45,104 units in the same month a year ago, up 3 per cent.
