Sun Life Fin gets new country head

Sun Life Financial has appointed Mr Venkatesh Mysore as Vice-President and Country Head, Sun Life Financial, India. Previously, Mr Mysore was the CEO and Country Manager of MetLife India.

In his new role, Mr Mysore will be responsible for Sun Life Financial's investment in the Birla Sun Life joint venture companies — Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd, Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd and Birla Sun Life Distribution Company Ltd. Mr Mysore has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He takes over from Mr Gary Comerford, who will move to Sun Life's corporate office as Vice-President and Managing Director, International.
