New Delhi , Jan. 4 After luxury watches and luxury accessories, it is now foreign luxury salons that are looking to grab the attention of the burgeoning number of high net worth households in India. French salon Jean Claude Biguine, a € 150-million hair and beauty chain, will be opening its salons this year starting with three outlets in Mumbai, followed by Delhi. The company hopes to have 50 salons in the top cities by 2010, at an investment of Rs 150 crore. "We will soon be opening 3-4 outlets in Mumbai and will open about 22 outlets in the next couple of years. We will also open four training academies by 2010," Mr Dharmendra Manwani, CEO, Jean Claude Biguine India, said. The company sees huge potential for its services in India. Last year has seen a number of foreign salon chains enter India with analysts pointing out that others such as the US firm Regis are mulling an Indian foray this year.
