Regional Rural Banks States - Karnataka Karnataka Grameena Bank plans Our Bureau
Quoting the Chairman of the bank, Mr M. Dhananjaya, a release said here on Friday that four more branches would be opened at Examba in Belgaum district, Tilavalli in Haveri district, and Vittal and Kalladka in Dakshina Kannada district during the current fiscal. He was speaking at the inauguration of the 388th branch of the bank at Uppina Betageri village in Dharwad district. At the end of December 2006, the total business of the bank stood at Rs 4,050 crore, including deposits of Rs 1,957 crore. The bank has set a target of reaching a business level of Rs 5,000 crore during the current fiscal.
