Bangalore , Jan. 6

Cornell University is looking for `vibrant collaboration' with Indian universities, government, research and business. Dr David Skorton, President, Cornell University, on a visit to the Infosys campus here, said the university was exploring possibilities of collaboration with India in the areas of healthcare, agri research and nanotechnology.

"As the new president of Cornell University, my first priority is to explore new areas that offer the greatest potential for collaboration among our faculty and opportunity for our students." He was confident that in the next two months, additional visits and contacts among Cornell and Indian faculty and researchers would get under way. Earlier students from Stanford Graduate School of Business interacted with Mr Narayana Murthy, Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies, and his wife Mrs Sudha Murthy. The students questioned Mr Murthy and his wife about the global delivery model entrepreneurship in India and its prospects.
