Sql Star to raise funds

Sql Star International Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the company's board of directors will be held on January 23 to consider raising about $15 million and discuss a proposal to acquire a US-based IT staffing company.

The company expects to raise about $15 million by issue of GDRs/FCCB/ ADRs or other securities in the international offerings or in domestic markets to fund expansion plans. The board would also consider the financial results.
