Singapore Airlines has announced discounts up to 50 per cent to some destinations in South-East Asia, from Hyderabad. The offer includes free stopover at Singapore.

The `New Year Getaways' offer entails a discount of 30 per cent on current return economy fares to Singapore/Kuala Lumpur/Penang.

Also, it offers 50 per cent on current economy fares to attractive locales in the Philippines such as Cebu and Davao, according to an airline release.

The fares, however, do not include taxes and surcharges.

Bookings can be made from January 9-31 for travel out of Hyderabad from January 21-February 28, said Mr C.W. Foo, General Manager.

Some of the special return fares are: Singapore (Rs 10,000), Kuala Lumpur/Penang (Rs 10,525), Bangkok (Rs 11,055),
