Buffalo unveils hard disk drive

Japanese firm Buffalo Inc launched its hard disk drive DriveStation Quattro eSATA_USB2.0 External HDD with RAID5. Quattro, according to the company, delivers a speed of 100MB/s, which is three times that of a conventional USB hard disk drive. It is aimed at home and office users who need to store digital content such as music, videos, photos and mission-critical data securely.

The DriveStation Quattro comes with a two-year warranty and will be available through Advent Infotech Pvt Ltd, national distributor of Buffalo in India. The 1 TeraByte version costs Rs 42,000, while 2 TB costs Rs 61,000.
