A TREE HUT of the Aranyakam home stay near Kalpetta in Wayanad. The State Government is planning to have 5,000 rooms under the `home stay' concept of the Tourism Development. The project, which will foster cultural exchange, will provide direct employment to about 7,500 people. Total investment in the project is estimated at Rs 75 crore.
