Corporation Bank hikes deposit rates

Corporation Bank has increased interest rates on domestic term deposits with effect from January 9.

A bank release said on Wednesday that for term deposits of less than Rs 15 lakh, the revised interest rates are: 5.25 per cent (4.75 per cent) for maturity period of 30-45 days, 5.5 per cent (5.5 per cent) for 46-90 days, 6.25 per cent (5.75 per cent) for 91-179 days, 7.25 per cent (6.5 per cent) for 180 days to less than one year, 8.25 per cent (7.25 per cent) for one year to less than three years and 7.5 per cent for three years to less than five years.

The revised rates are applicable to fresh deposits accepted and on renewal of deposits maturing on or after the effective date, the release added.
