Now, Bangaloreans can buy a platform ticket using their cell phones . Airtel, in association with RailTel, introduced this new customer service in Bangalore on Thursday. To avail this service, an Airtel customer has to just type PFT and SMS it to 64639. The customer will receive a five-digit code on his mobile, which when fed into the vending machine will print the platform ticket. Every SMS will cost the customer Rs 4, which will be debited from his prepaid account or added to his post-paid bill. This service is available only at the city railway station in Majestic area.
