SunTec Knowledge Centre opened

Our Bureau

To network with clients; update them with offerings

The Knowledge Centre will enable the company to create `high-value employees' across the State.

Thiruvananthapuram , Jan. 12

The Chief Minister, Mr V.S. Achuthanandan, inaugurated SunTec Business Solutions' Product Knowledge Centre in the city on Friday.

SunTec Business Solutions is a leader in enterprise-wide billing and value management software solutions, providing modern solutions to the BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) sector, telecom and utility industries.

In his address, the Chief Minister hoped that the Knowledge Centre would prove a worthwhile match for the ever-growing demands of the knowledge-based business.

PRODUCT INFO

The modern art facility will serve as a fount of information to employees on SunTec's extensive array of product suite and client implementations. It will also network with the company's clients and partners to update them with the SunTec offerings.

Mr K. Nanda Kumar, Managing Director and CEO of SunTec, who presided over the function, said that the SunTec Product Knowledge Centre was a further reinforcement of the company's commitment to both employees and customers.

"We are committed to providing our employees with a workplace that is challenging and enriching. We are also committed to our customers to continuously deliver extraordinary value."

The Knowledge Centre will enable the company to create what Mr Nanda Kumar called `high-value employees' in Thiruvananthapuram as well as across the State. It is expected that the centre would be able to attract potential talent from other parts of the country.

KEY ASSET

"We are a growing company and education is vital for our staff in specific products and domains. I see the Knowledge Centre as a key asset for an aggressively growing product company," said Mr Ian Kerr, COO, SunTec.

Employee learning will commence within a day at the new facility, with around 100 employees attending a three-month-long program. After completing the training, they will support SunTec products in the financial and telecom services industries across the globe. People drawn from various sectors of IT with varied experience in development, implementation and training will staff the Knowledge Centre

The Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram, Mr C. Jayan Babu, and the Member of Parliament, Mr Pannyan Raveendran, were among the other dignitaries who attended the inaugural function.
