IFMR management festival from Jan 21

The Institute of Financial Management and Research (IFMR) is organising its annual two-day management fest `Abhyudaya 2007' starting January 21. The theme for the fest is "See the Big Picture" and will include contests such as business plan, business quiz, advertisement game, strategy game and business simulation besides informal events such as treasure hunt, according to a press release.

IFMR is inviting applications from corporates for its flagship event, the business quiz. The fest will be inaugurated by Mr L. Ramkumar, President and Director, Fenner India, and will see participation from companies such as Ashok Leyland, Indian Oil Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services and Allsec Technologies, said the release.

B-schools such as Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow; IIM Bangalore; Indian School of Business, Hyderabad; Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi; Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resources Development; and Mudra Institute of Communication Ahmedabad would be participating at the event, said the release.
