BEML, STC sign trading pact

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd and the State Trading Corporation have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for co-operation in trading of minerals and other products through export and import, a BEML release said. The defence engineering major recently diversified into trading of non-BEML products and formed a trading division. It will use STC warehouses for imported goods and offer goods and products to customers through STC wherever applicable. Its trading division will offer products to Indian and overseas customers along with BEML's own range. The BEML Chairman and Managing Director, Mr V.R.S. Natarajan, and the STC CMD, Dr Arvind Pandalai, signed the MoU here on Friday.
