Himalaya Optical, a major optical retail chain in eastern India, is opening its exclusive outlet here from Sankranti day.

At a press meet here, Mr Sarat Binani, Managing Director, said it would be the 29th showroom of the company. "It is our first foray into the southern market. In view of its fast growth in recent times, we have chosen Vizag. We want to expand our operations in the South," he said.

The company is 60 years old and it has made a mark in the eastern and northern parts of the country, he added. "We will sell all international brands and cater to the needs of customers in all income brackets. Laser vision correction facility is also available," he said.
