Outlook Tata Tele looks at Rs 600 cr from mobility tools Our Bureau
Kolkata , Jan 14 Tata Teleservices Ltd hopes to generate Rs 600 crore revenue from its mobility solutions offerings in the current fiscal. The company recently formed a separate group to offer mobility solutions to large corporates and SMEs across 14 industry verticals such as banking, insurance, FMCG, retail, manufacturing and metals and mining. Christened Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Group, the mobility solutions business team comprises 450 people and has 60,000 large corporates and SMEs as its clients. Speaking to newspersons, Mr Uttam Soni, Vice-President and Head (Enterprise Business), said that the application of these solutions includes wireless e-mail, remote network access, vehicle tracking system, telemetry, SMS gateway, transaction solutions and transportation and logistics. The entire bouquet of offerings is CDMA-based.
