The Punjab National Bank has been shifted its branch at Perinthalmanna to a more convenient place at C.T. Plaza, Ooty Road. Mr N. Subramanian, Senior Regional Manager, Kozhikode region, said that the bank had introduced different schemes exclusively for traders in the region and the Perinthalmanna branch will move into core banking solutions in a week's time.

The bank has introduced real time gross settlement (RTGS) via Internet and customer could remit amount to any bank to any destination in India within a time leg of three hours by themselves, he added. Mr T.T. Vijaya Kumaran, RDO and Sub Divisional Magistrate, Perinthalmanna, inaugurated the new premises.
