Workshop on Italian fashion in Mumbai, Tirupur

An international workshop on Italian fashion and design is being organised in Mumbai and Tirupur this week.

The workshop to be held under the aegis of the Banyan Tree Holdings Pvt Ltd (of Italy's Carrera group) and the Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL) is to be staged in Mumbai on January 17and in Tirupur on January 19.

According to a communication from the PDEXCIL Chairman, Mr M.S. Mathivanan, besides experts from Italy's fashion and design industry, top academicians and politicians, including the Chief Minister and Education Minister from Italy's Lombardy state will participate in the fashion workshops.
